The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The campground is tucked down on a stream in the woods and has a very "camp" feel, which is what we were looking for. They are mostly tent or small trailer spots and we were pushing it with our 35' motorhome. We stopped here on our way up PCH for 2 nights. I scored it 3 stars because I was a little uncomfortable with the evidence of big rock/mud slides into the camp (the adjacent spot was taped off with caution tape and we were right up against the same hill). Also, no sewer hookups and the wifi shouldn't even be advertised. You would think someone coming to the woods for a weekend could survive without wifi, however just checking things like where parks and trails are, restaurant reviews (this place is a trap, 5.00 gas and 15.00 sandwiches) etc. was pretty challenging. We have both ATT and Verizon and we tried the camp hookup. All three were not cutting it. It's a nice camp, but not for larger rigs and it's not cheap.
