📖 About This Campground
R-Ranch In The Mountains in Dahlonega Georgia offers full hookup RV camping in a membership/ owner community. Located in the hills the park has horseback riding and venue halls in addition to playgrounds and pools. The nicely appointed property is open to members.
From the park: We are a privately owned resort in which our owners hold an undivided interest in this unique vacation spot nestled in the North Georgia Mountains. R-Ranch is bordered on three sides by the Chattahoochee National Forrest which provides Majestic Mountain views all across the Ranch. This year R-Ranch is
celebrating its 33rd Anniversary! Over all these years, many families have created special memories that will last a lifetime. We would like to extend an invitation to you to become an owner of R-Ranch. As an owner, you would receive a warranty deed to the property, therefore owning 1/2400 interest in the 800+ acre Ranch in North Georgia. R-Ranch is just a 70-minute ride from Atlanta.
RV camping in our 167 sites for only $3.50 usage fee per day. Stay as often as you like, however maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights which must then be followed by 3 nights off property. Owners are also eligible for complimentary RV storage.
An R-Ranch ownership includes unlimited FREE horseback riding on Ranch horses for owners and their immediate families (Children living at home with you, the owner(s) that are unmarried and under age 26 as well as unmarried grandchildren under the age 26). A small fee applies for guests of owners. R-Ranch offers 3 to 4 guided trail rides a day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays (plus exception of Thursdays too, in the winter months Dec-March).

This is a huge private resort in the Appalacian Mountains. There are 7 campgrounds, all big, long, level, gravel sites, some with a stream and woods in the rear. There are 2 lakes on the property, cabins for rent, a tiny house village with rentals, even houses for rent. They have stables with horse rides available, a rodeo in June, a chapel on a hill and an Olympic size R-shaped pool. There are activities all year long, many sports fields and playgrounds. And the views of the mountains are magnificent. Not easy to get to but worth the trip for a few nights or longer.
