📖 About This Campground

Prado Regional Park Campground and RV Park in Chino California is located in the Chino Valley basin where San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles Counties connect and offers full hookup RV sites and tent camping sites. With both shaded and open areas the sites are spread out to provide privacy and room to play. Playgrounds, ball fields, and a recreational fishing lake are available. The park is just off CA 71 at Euclid Ave with a gated and patrolled entrance the camping sites are located out in the back of the park. The placement keeps traffic on the camping loops to a minimum, moves the sites far away from any highways and helps to set a calm ambiance as campers enter to the park. A short distance away from Chino Hills State Park Prado Regional Park is a San Bernardino County Park managed for the enjoyment and benefit of the public. Fishing is popular on the lake along with bird watching (the area is a riparian habit replete with large numbers of migrating and local birds). Within a short distance of the park are a RC plane airport, the Olympic Shooting Range, a nice disc golf course and during warmer months a water play area. Campsites include a picnic table and fire ring. Set in to two loops the camping areas are accessible for any size RV or trailer combination. Use care with your small pets and children as the natural setting is home to native species of snakes and predators. The grassy areas are well kept but gopher and rabbit holes do pose dangers. The furthest loop is better suited to large RVs while the "first loop" has sites for small RVs and tents. Reservations are recommended and can be made online or via phone. This area is famous for bad rush hour traffic on the freeways so plan your travels during non-peak times. Open year round the campground is a great off season destination with low crowds and great weather. During the summer the area can be very warm but does benefit with a sea breeze influence for evenings and mornings. See another video of the RV park/ Campground

$35 per night for peace and quiet. Great setup to accommodate bigger RVs and overall great place to stay. Very nice views at night and lovely lake during the day. An active ranger presence makes us fell comfortable. The only issue is traffic in this area... it sucks. Verizon 4G was fast and hd over the air was 156 channels!!! We will stay many more times. Great park.

Rate comes out $30 per night for a weekly stay. Excellent Verizon 4G and 3G signals easy access to groceries and city but tucked out away from it all. The only downside is that there are cattle farms in the area and depending on the direction of the wind it can be a bit stinky. We stayed here to visit Disneyland which is 30 minutes away. Your video does a great job showing the sites and area. There is a stocked and scenic lake in the middle of the park making for pretty sunsets and strolls. Horseback riding available from nearby private companies. Shooting, golfing, RC flying, bow range, mountain biking, hiking, and air museum all within 5 miles or on site. One of the best parks in California.

Originally planned to stay at Bonelli Park 10 miles to the north. After researching their rates and comparing the two we opted to stay here. An excellent decision. Very nice campground with large sites and beautiful views. There was some cow smell in the morning but by afternoon it was gone. Riding distance to Chino Hills SP. Amazing wild-life around the lake just watch small pets as the hawks are very aggressive. Locked gate at night with key code access. We will stay again.
