You are 30 minutes from a small town to buy groceries, that is my only complaint, the park is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the sites are wide, level and cement,
The historic and nationally registered Poche Plantation is not your typical RV Stop. Located the same distance between Louisiana's two largest cities, where by almost all accounts anyone day tripping via tow car can easily take in all the sights, taste and ambiance this historically rich state is known for. The free guided tour of the 8500 sq ft mansion, the historic church and graveyard... Oh heck believe me, your family as ours did will love this place. It is simply, the best of Louisiana
