If you are looking to stay in the Monterey Bay area on a budget this is really the only game in town. At $35 per night or $210 for a week for full hookups and nice grassy sites this is the place to stay. We actually enjoy Watsonville more than Santa Cruz or Monterey. It is an authentic city with a hard working people (both farm-workers and residents). It is a farming community so Spanish is the most likely language to hear will walking around the park grounds or sitting by the pretty lakeside. A special tip if you are visiting is the farm stand over on Holohan and 152; great selection and prices on produce. If you are a cyclist then this place is a real treat too. You can string together a nice 15 mile loop ride using Amesti, Pioneer, Corralitos, Browns Valley, Hazel Dell, and then back on Green Valley. Nice climbs, low traffic and you ride about 5 miles through a Redwood forest! Verizon 4G struggles heavily here even on an amplifier. Neighbor had T-Mobile and said he had a great signal. Overall this park is a great stay in the area. The only negative, if it even is one, is that the park tends to cater to a lot of RVs owned by folks who are struggling to get by. If you need your neighbors to have fancy rigs this is not the place for you.

What an amazing little RV Park Campground. The sites are narrow but with it being off-season our 4 slide fifth wheel fit fine; it would be cramped if the place was full. They have a 2 week max stay limit so there are only short timers and vacationers. We enjoyed parking on the grass and loved being able to simply lay the blankets outside the door and picnic in the sun. Verizon 4g worked well but 3g was sluggish during busy times. The park provides wifi but it was fast and slow again depending upon time of day. We will definitely return. At $35 per day this is the best deal for a 30 mile radius.
