📖 About This Campground
Pickwick Dam Campground is nestled cozily in the pine trees below the TVA Pickwick Dam, on the Tennessee River, near Savannah, TN.
Across from the campground is a public fishing and boat ramp area. Pickwick is popular for boating, kayaking, and canoeing. It has a reputation of being an excellent sports fishing area, noted for its record size small mouthed bass and catfish.
Our new campground store is now open and stocked! Come enjoy a cup of fresh coffee every morning, snacks, candy, drinks, bait, tackle, toys, camping and RV supplies, firewood, ice, patriotic decorations, and so much more! Cash and credit cards accepted.
The campground is flat with 93 interior campsites laid out in 3 loops: loop A, B, & C. Each site has electric and water hook-ups, and 6 sites meet ADA guidelines. Each ADA site has a concrete pad and private concrete walkway to the bathhouse.
8 additional primitive tent sites are located directly on the riverfront and 2 of these sites meet ADA guidelines. Primitive tent sites do not have electric or water hook-ups.
There are a 3 bathhouses, one in each loop with warm showers and flush toilets. The entry roads are paved and each campsite is graveled with a picnic table, fire pit, charcoal grill, and lantern post. A dump station is located in the campground for the campers to use at no charge.
