Pickerel Lakeside Campground and Cottages in Bitely Michigan offers partial and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping adjacent to a recreational lake. Set in a rural setting the campground has dirt roads and parking pads in a shaded setting. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings. From the park: Bitely/Baldwin area in Northwest Michigan.  Pickerel Lakeside Campground and Cottages is situated in the heart of the Manistee National Forest on over 35 acres of mature woods AND 700 feet of lake frontage. Our quiet family orientated 46 site campground offers lakefront and pull through sites.  20/30/50 amp electric, centralized water, disposal station and sparkling outhouses. Four clean, comfortably furnished, cottages have private bedrooms and baths, air conditioning, sliding glass doors overlooking the lake, full sized appliances - everything you'll need to feel right at home. Pickerel Lake has excellent fishing with bass, pike, blue gill, crappies, perch.  It is an all sports lake, but is better suited for quiet enjoyment.  Ducks, geese and loons make their home here and occasionally eagles are seen. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, bird watching, exploring, star gazing, enjoying the camp fire and each other's company is a quiet, relaxed, natural setting.  VACATIONS ARE GREAT AT PICKEREL LAKE!
