Ottawa Metro Park

I don't believe politics plays anything in to this. This is a normal oversight that public park managers miss when setting rules. They likely have no rule requiring a unit actually be parked in a site for it to be occupied; with Memorial Day Weekend coming up the locals all went in and paid for the sites for the entire week to hold them.

This would be a better park if they could keep the politics out of it! This park claims to be a first come first serve,but when my wife and I went to get a site they were all taken for the whole week but there was nobody in them.Must be reservable, just as state park walk-ins!

30 amp and water hookups for $25 in a quiet county managed park. This place is well kept with great spacing and $10 for all you can burn firewood. During the warmer months there is a swimming lake (extra fee). We enjoyed the disc golf course and the nice playground equipment along with the paved multi-use trails. Lots of locals enjoying the park on the weekend and many said they return again and again because the park is so well managed. We used it as an overnight stop easily pulling in to one of the long pull thrus. Verizon 4G was excellent and so was the digital over the air TV selection. Lima is a center of commerce for the area so there are things to do in the area. Very impressed.
