Oceano Campground at Pismo State Beach

Oceano Campground at Pismo State Beach in Oceano California offers primitive and partial hookup (electric/ water) RV and tent camping a few steps from the beach and Pacific Ocean. This campground is located at the "southern" dunes entrance area and recently underwent renovations including a visitor center, improved site access and bathroom facilities. Located in the hamlet area around the airport and Oceano entrance guests are in their own little area down here. Walk straight out to the beach or drive to the dunes. Advanced reservations are available and this campground does have an RV and tent area. The RV sites are set in a series of rows with little spacing or privacy between sites; the tent area provides a bit more privacy and seclusion with a prettier area. Paved roads and parking pads. Each site has a picnic table and fire rings. Showers and restrooms are located within the campground areas. Fresh water is available to fill tanks; the dump station is located off-site. A dirt path leads direct to the sand and another paved trails meanders around the brackish waterways that surround the property. Not as well known as the other camping area managed by Pismo State Beach this location provides ample shade and a different camping experience overall. See another video of the RV Park/ Campground
