The Fair grounds and the RV park are in a beautiful setting with all the tall pine trees. We have been coming here for several years now and always enjoy the fair. However in the last few years if you are planning on staying in your RV be prepared for a very rude RV manager placing you in your RV space. She does not try be accommodating in anyway. You cannot reserve a particular space no matter how far in advance you try to make a reservation. I asked why and she said there are variables she uses to put RVs in different places. What are the variables? She would not tell me. What is it that would not allow me in a space, even though I have been in that space before, she would not say. And it is mainly the way she talks to you just extremely rude. We have traveled to many states and many RV parks but never have we had someone as rude as she is.

Lovely place to camp. Was empty when we stayed so we got a great full hookup site tucked under large shade trees. The property is nice to roam around and great trails 1 mile away at Empire Mine State Park. Price was reasonable and Verizon 4G worked great.
Enjoyed our 2 day stay at this RV park. It was not crowded, likely because there was an event coming up on Friday and the park was going to be closed to the public. Very nice pull thru site under the trees. Quiet location and nice little areas to walk around the grounds. Camphost was pleasant. Verizon 4G was good, not fast but good. The park wifi was decent too. Paid $40 per night.
