Lynnville Park Campground west of Lynnville Indiana offers full, partial, and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping in a county run park adjacent a recreational lake.

Lynnville Park was established in 1964 when Peabody Coal Company deeded 1100 acres of strip mined land and lakes to the town of Lynnville for use as a water supply and for recreational purposes. The town no longer draws water from the 275 acre main lake but the recreational use has increased tremendously In the last few years, There are 24 modern campsites with water, electric (50 AMP) and sewer hookups, 16 modern sites with water and electric (50 AMP) and 22 primitive sites. The main lake Is stocked with largeยญ mouthed bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish. The lake features a concrete boat ramp, handicapped fishing pier, and a boat dock. The wooded acreage surrounding the lakes is home to whitetail deer, quail, rabbits, squirrels, muskrat, wild turkey Canadian geese, beaver, ducks, songbirds and rarely seen red fox.
