📖 About This Campground

Lost Creek Campground in Crater Lake National Park offers 16 sites for tent camping only. It is located in the southeast corner of the park on the spur road to the Pinnacles Overlook. It is open from July through early-October, weather permitting. Lost Creek Campground is a small, tents-only campground located on the road to Pinnacles Overlook, three miles from the rim of Crater Lake. It usually opens in early July and closes in mid-October. Registration is self-service, and reservations are not available. In July and August, the campground typically fills by mid-afternoon.  Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and bear-resistant food locker. Payment can be made by check or exact cash. Lost Creek Campground is operated by the National Park Service.
