📖 About This Campground

Lemolo Lake / Crater Lake North KOA in Idleyld Park Oregon offers full hookup RV and partial or primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup tent camping in a forested setting adjacent to the namesake lake. A new KOA for 2018 the resort is upgrading to meet the requirements of the KOA brand. The RV sites are pull thrus capable of handling large RVs. From the park: Located in the eastern portion of the Umqua National Forest, the property is located on a 540-acre boating and fishing lake with beautiful views of Mount Thielsen and the surrounding hills. The property features:
  • 11 full service cabins, some with lake and mountain views. Each with a bathroom and kitchenette and sleeping for 4-8 people.
  • A 24-site RV park with 75% of the sites being pull-through and 100% full hook-up for utilities and sewer, with a shower and laundry facility servicing the park.
  • 8 tent sites (5 with water and 3 lakeside with beautiful mountain views) plus a large group site with water, sewer and electricity hookups.
  • A small store to provide food, drink, camping supplies, firewood, ice, souvenirs, and propane tank refills.
  • A boat ramp and 2 docks with boats for rent including motorized pontoon boats and fishing boats along with row boats, peddle boats, kayaks and paddle boards.

  • The breath-taking beauty of Crater Lake National Park is nearby as the North entrance to the National Park is just 18 miles South of Lemolo Lake.
  • A recently completed 7-mile hiking, biking, and horseback trail around Lemolo Lake, adjacent to the property.
  • 6 spectacular waterfalls & a natural hot springs complete with rock “tub” to relax in all within 20 miles of the property.
  • The North Umpqua Trail (known locally as the NUT), famous for its “dread and terror” mountain biking segment and ultra running competitions.
  • The Pacific Crest Trail (a famous hiking trail that traverses from Mexico to Canada), just a few miles East of the property.
  • Numerous other mountain bike routes and hiking trails which provide guests at Lemolo Lake KOA significant recreation, sport, sightseeing and other outdoor opportunities.
