Las Cruces KOA

Las Cruces KOA in Las Cruces New Mexico offers full and partial hookup RV and tent camping a couple miles off the interstate and out of town. The park is situated on a hill allowing for scenic views looking west towards Las Cruces and the mountains behind the city. A well kept KOA, albeit not super fancy, the park has gravel roads and site pads. Some of the sites have concrete tire lanes. Picnic tables and small shade trees are located throughout the park. The "best" sites have views overlooking the valley and for RV owners can be enjoyed by pulling in to face the windshield towards the view. A small store is located in the main office. An older but functioning playground is right up front with a basketball court behind the office. The pool is nicely kept and open seasonally. Propane and a dump station are also available. The park caters mostly to short term travelers due to price and location. Overall the park is very pricey for short term stays ($40-$60 per night as of 2016). If you have kids along this is the only park in town with kid friendly amenities on site; in addition there is a water park a short distance away.
