Do not stay here. At check-in we were notified that the gate would be pad locked from 10pm till 6am. This gate is almost 2 miles from the campground leaving you trapped in or out; I would never willingly walk into a prison so we demanded a full refund and left. A few days later we returned to check out the campground; it is nice with full hookup sites on 3 loops. Dirt and trimmed weeds with views of the lake. Contacted county and they are open to making changes if people speak up. Letter on way.

Lake Skinner Recreation Area Campground in Winchester California is few miles east of the Temecula Wineries and within easy access of Interstates 15 and 215. The campground offers full hookup RV sites and tent sites. A popular boating and fishing lake the park also features water play areas, playgrounds and family friendly amenities. Gated entrance located in a rural setting. Home to the annual balloon and wine tasting festival. (Riverside County Park)
Multiple camping loops can accommodate, groups, tents, and large RVs. Located in a rural area the park enjoys dark night skies, great trails and access to the lake. Restrooms are located throughout.
