Almost a cross between a national park campground and a state park. About a 100 sites more or less build into a hillside. 95% are mostly to full shaded campsites. Some level many that are not. Everything from campsites for tents to 10 or 15 that “might” fit a 25’ RV trailer. The issue is it may be a good sized site, but you don’t have the swing room to get into. Pop-up trailers you will have no issues. There are a few flush restrooms and one “Pay” shower building. Pulling a trailer you will have to pay close attention to low hanging tree branches. There are plenty of water faucets around the campground. This area is the hot spot for trail hiking as there are 5-6 trails leading out of the campground including the AT. Being close to I-93 you do get some freeway traffic noise. If your a tent camper, it will rate much higher. As far as a place for RV’s you are very limited.
