Killens Pond State Park, established in 1965, is centrally located in Kent County, Delaware, near Felton. The park encompasses a 66-acre millpond along the Murderkill River, offering a variety of recreational activities year-round. Recreational Activities:
  • Boating and Fishing: The pond is open to boating, with rentals available for canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats. Anglers can fish for bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish, perch, and pickerel.
  • Hiking and Biking: Several miles of trails are available for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing, allowing visitors to explore the park's natural beauty.
  • Disc Golf: An 18-hole disc golf course runs through the park, providing a fun activity for all ages.
