This is a nice campground. Most sites have plenty of room and all appeared to be level. RV sites are packed sand which drains very well (we were there during a storm). Roadway is curvy and could be a little tight for large rigs but our 30' travel trailer was no problem. We didn't use the shower or washrooms but they looked fine. Firewood available onsite and nearby for sale. We would definitely stay again. The only strange requirement is needing 7-day advance reservations. We were able to call after making our reservation to have our stay extended inside the 7-day window after the fact.

📖 About This Campground
Jordan Park Campground in Stevens Point Wisconsin offers partial hookup RV and tent camping in a county run park adjacent to a recreational lake. The 22 site campground is open May 1st โ October 31st. In addition to the main campground, three canoe campsites adjacent to the Plover River exist. All sites except the canoe sites are provided with electrical hookups. Approximately half the sites are reservable. Reservations are made at the Portage County Parks office, either in person, through the mail or on this website with Master Card or VISA and must be made at least 7 days in advance of when a site is to be occupied. The campground also has a handicapped site that can be reserved.
Reasonable fees add up a bit when you add on electric and reservation costs. Guests have access to a pond, the river, playgrounds, ball fields and overall amenities one would expect at a county park.
