This place is huge! All grassy sites, some shaded, some full hook-ups. Restrooms, showers, no amenities. Check in is at the campground host on the premises. It's right on the fairgrounds (which are immense) and when we camped there was some horse judging going on so the campground was mostly filled with horse trailers. It's close to downtown Des Moines. Sits on a hill so the views are really nice. Lots of black flies when we were there.
