Interstate RV Campgrounds

Ants everywhere. Told the owner I didn’t feel like I should have to pay after waking up to hundreds of ants in our bed, shower, sinks, counters, etc. She said she would call the cops if I did not pay. Decided it wasn’t worth the argument over $35 and paid her. She then followed us down the road and caught us at a Traffic light. She asked if we wanted our money back and I said yes. We pulled into the nearest gas station and while pumping gas the police arrived. I’m like really?? After telling him my version of the ants and needing my entire coach fumigated he went to speak to her.He then came back and said she had a change of heart and wasn’t going to refund us. In the end to be fair she did give us back $10 and told us to buy some bug spray. She told me if I wrote a bad review she would sue me. After wasting an hour of our time we finally got back on the road where she proceeded to follow us to the next exit. Just the mere unprofessional manner that the owner showed us was enough for me to write this. Do yourself a favor drive an extra 20 miles south and stay at {another park}.

Interstate RV Park, 305 Chapman Rd, Byron, GA Stayed 2015 09 29 $150 Wk $25 Day, in site 9 pull through. The sites are mostly sand, fairly level with many exposed tree roots making it impossible to put out a mat or rug of any kind. The utilities are toward the front and the water pressure is really high. There is no WiFi, the Verizon Mifi does get good reception and Verizon phone is very good. What cable TV there is, (about 70 channels) some are so snowy they are worthless. The drives in the park are very rutted with a lot of potholes. There are a lot of pine trees and this time of the year the needles are falling on everything. There is not much in the way of lighting in the park. There is traffic noise but very little park noise. The laundry has three washers and dryers, $2.00 wash and $1.50 dry. There are no chairs inside the laundry and no table or shelf to fold clothes. It was fairly clean but looks like the park depends on the guests to keep it clean.
