📖 About This Campground

Hoquiam River RV Park in Hoquiam Washington offers 60 full hookup RV camping sites in a quiet setting adjacent to the river. The park keeps designated areas for short and long term guests and can accommodate most any sized RV. The park has packed gravel roads and sites. Tucked off US 101 the location is within walking distance of the downtown area (and can be accessed by walking neighborhood streets rather than the main street. Located along a scenic tidal river the park affords guests with a unique location to stay for visiting the western edge of the Olympic Peninsula. Sites are separated by naturally irrigated grass dividers (color depending upon the volume of recent rains). A large rec room, showers, laundry and public fire pit are available.

The managers of the campground went above and beyond, they gave us their personal wifi range extender to use while we were here. Right on the Hoquiam River with deer crossing through the campground. Some permanents but mostly people on the move. Nice, clean laundry. Community room that was locked during our stay but looked nice inside. Big pull-through sites and long back ins. Very clean campground. Close to town. Fresh cookies in the office most days.

Zero complaints here. They fit us in last minute for 4 days while we visited Olympic National Park. Full hookup backin over with their long term guests. Very quiet park with an awesome water front stretch along a tidal river (it rises and falls several feet with the tide). Right off US 101 most of the sites are tucked back and this place was simply silent at night. Office manager and her son were great and even offered brownies when we arrived. Price was a little high but they fit us in and run a nice park so worth it. Verizon 4G was 1 bar and a bit slow. Hoquiam and Aberdeen WA are working people towns not tourist traps. This is real coastal Washington fishing, logging (primary) and blue collar area. We liked it for a visit.
