This is a solid state park choice, there's water activites, a dam, and the waterfall itself. The campground is separated from the day use areas and is a good mix of shade and open areas for kids to play. The pull thru sites in the middle of the loops are more likely to not have shade. They have some premium sites with 50 amp but not all have it. Site 82 was perfect, it's a side pull thru that was partially shaded so your door opens to the forest instead of to the back side of another campsite. We hosted a father's day get together and it was perfect for us all to gather in a way where we felt sheltered and like we were less likely to be a bother to anyone around us. The only drawback was it looked like there was a fair amount of poison ivy just off the edge of the cleared area around the picnic table and fire pit so we didn't put the dogs on their tie outs (which we never leave them on unattended) for fear they would get it on their fur. Site was level and electricity and water pressure were good. We camped at High Falls State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We have been camping for years. Good Verizon cell & data. Extra charge for 50A (premium) sites. This is the quietest campground I have ever spent nights in, terrific. Close to I-75, close to shopping and Atlanta. Surroundings are beautiful. Sites are large and very level.
