📖 About This Campground

Hidden Valley Campground in Joshua Tree National Park California offers 39 primitive tent and RV sites at an elevation 4,200ft. Access to off-roading, hiking, and the different experiences within the park. Located near the location of an old ranch claim pre-dating the park this campground is popular for its expert level and intermediate rock rope climbing peaks. Sit from camp and watch experts climb 200 foot stone faces or bring your ropes and prove your mettle on the climbs. The campsites are situated in a U Shape with the east side definitely for tents only and the west side having slightly larger sites that can fit small RVs. Narrow tight roads would preclude any large RVs from entering. No water or hookups available. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings. Pit toilets available.
