The previous review is outdated as Verizon has changed coverage in this area and it is now horrible. I was barely able to make phone calls and was required to setup my amplifier just to use the phone and internet. 4G is slow even over the amp. None of this is the fault of the park which is a nice park with reasonable rates. We checked out the Savanah National Wildlife Refuge 4 mile drive, Savannah, Tybee Island, and Hilton Head all from this location. Very convenient and away from the congestion of the various surrounding communities. The pull thru sites are huge and they have a new dog run. 2 fueling stations .5 mile down the road. We paid $30 per night.

Another location with super fast Verizon coverage. There is easy access to downtown Savannah (only 8 miles) while staying in the woods. We took a spot nearer the front, that wrapped around some large trees and overlooked a creek bed. Location was wonderful. Roadway is heavily trafficked, so stay near the back for quiet. Shell gas station is .5 miles up the road, and does sell diesel with a big-rig pump available. It's 3 miles to the newly opened visitor center for Savannah NWR
