Always a wonderful stay. Pricey but no more so than other full hookup parks. They have this place looking really nice. Verizon and their WiFi worked well. The neighborhood coming in leaves something to be desired but still a nice place

What a great camping location. We loved the access to the Redwoods and the swimming holes on the Eel River. We spent a few days in the partial hookup sites and a few days in a full hookup site; the partial hookups was better - more room and less traffic in and out. being said anywhere you go is good at this park. Verizon 4G was solid.

Nice park just off the Avenue of the Giants. Not a luxury resort but nice. The full hookup sites are close together while the partial hookup and primitive sites are nicely spaced with shaded and open sites. Rate was $35 per night. They provide Direct-TV service to each site and, from what I have been told, have been working to upgrade the park. Place filled up both nights we were there. The road you drive down to the park passes some impoverished homes trailers but the locals are nice and we felt very safe and secure. Easy access to Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Adjacent to the Eel River with a short walk to the waters edge. Only downside is that Verizon 4G3G signal is weak; works okay with a repeater.
