There are five different camping areas at Falls Lake. We stayed in the Holly Point Campground in Loop 3. Some sites, including all of loop 3, have electric and water hook ups. The rest are dry camping. Most sites not on the lake are extremely large and well spaced. They may not be perfectly level but they typically have a long enough level area for any rig. The sites on the lake are smaller but still well spaced with plenty of tree cover. According to the Rangers, on the weekends, loop 2 is the party loop and loop 3 is the retiree loop (very quiet). The campground is about three miles from a large well stocked grocery store and 12 miles from Wake Forest. We have no problem staying here again. The grounds are well patrolled and the sites are clean.
