El Rancho Lobo RV Park

This campground was formerly named El Rancho Lobo RV but the new owners have renamed it. DO NOT USE YOUR GPS. The owners will text you directions and if you don't follow them you end up on 3 miles of dusty dirt road. We know from experience. The campground is off a dirt road but it's not too long a drive. The locals told us if you drive slowly on the dirt road it's bumpier than if you drive about 50 MPH. Just watch out for the cows in the road. The sites and roads at the campground are gravel, very nice. The owner meets you at the gate and leads you in. There were 4 hosts always available for help if needed. Very spacious campground. Huge lounge with billiard table, free coffee, soda, TV, book and DVD exchange, big exercise room, laundry. In the back of the rec room there's lots of wildlife. A big owl lives in one of the trees and the owner came and got us to show him to us. Also saw roadrunners in the campground but never saw the elusive badger. Very clean, great views. After we left the owners texted us a great picture of our RV as we pulled out. These new young owners really know what they're doing.
