📖 About This Campground
Econfina Creek Wildlife Management Area near Youngstown Florida provides primitive camping within the refuge managed by the state. Allowed only at designated campsites (see map). A permit from the Northwest Florida Water Management District (NWFWMD) is required and camping is subject to permit provisions. 11 defined camping locations are situated throughout the park. Some are accessible via vehicle while most are only accessible by horse, hiking or biking.
