We stayed here for a few months this summer and enjoyed our stay. The rates are cheaper than most in the area. The bathrooms were always clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. . There is a lot to see in the area and this is a nice central location to most sites we wanted to see. We would stay here again if in the area.

Custer Crazy Horse Campground is a centrally located RV park in Custer, SD. We went there the later part of Sept. 2013. There is a 1 12 mile drive to Custer from there, about 4 miles to Crazy Horse Memorial Mountain, & I don't remember it being super far at all to Mt. Rushmore. The campground host was helpful & we came at a time of year the season was winding down, so it was a quiet, uncrowded traveling period of time. We were shown the spaces where wifi was best & appreciated there were showers & restrooms. You need at least a week in this area it is so beautiful & full of unforgettable things to see. For this reason, the value would be better if they gave a way better, more competitive weekly rate; for we needed to stay for 2 weeks.
