the armpit of Wyoming! This "campground" is a gravel parking lot with electric poles, in back of a motel. No one at the office, fairly expensive--especially for the privilege of parking in the sun on gravel! Yuck!

📖 About This Campground
Crystal Park Campground in Newcastle Wyoming provides full and partial hookup RV sites for short and long term stays. Pull thrus available located on the east side of town just off US 16. The campground has undergone recent significant improvements including new pedestals, and improved facilities. Showers and restrooms are available. The area is sparsely populated and this campground is not normally manned. A self pay box is available. A large hotel is located just across the spur road and sets the tone for the area... aged and run down. The campground is anything but, now and is a suitable spot to stop and stay.
In addition to the gravel RV area there is a grassy area for tent camping.
