We stayed at this park to be close to Portland, so were aware that it would be noisy. It is, and it's certainly not a place I would want to stay and relax. It's clean and tidy, and the pads are level, but the spots are close together and though separated by grass, they have no picnic benches, which I never really understand at a campground. The wifi did not work in our trailer. One big plus, however, is that for a fee you can wash your own rig. Even better, we bumped into Juan, whose van advertised rig washing and he washed and waxed our sorry looking trailer that afternoon while we were out. When we came back, it was the cleanest and shiniest we've ever seen it. NB don't take his first price, haggle until you get what you think is a fair price, he's very good natured!

Columbia River RV Park in Portland Oregon offers full hookup RV sites and is only a short drive away from downtown Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA. It is also a great place to ride bikes along the Columbia River on Marine Drive Bike Path which is less than a mile away. Paved roads and parking pads the park has a mix of short and long term guests.

We lucked out and were placed in a back-in out in the back corner spot. This gave us an all alone feel with green grass and plants on all three sides. The interior sites seemed pretty cramped albeit long enough for the longest rigs. The park is located adjacent to a busy road with heavy truck traffic and is 1 mile from the end of the PDX runway. Depending upon the wind you either have planes landing or taking off over your head = loud at times. Good access to Portland. Verizon signal okay.
