Coleman Landing Campground at Shady Oaks Recreation Area near Lake Wales Florida offers 54 partial hookup RV and tent camping sites along the shores of Kissimee Lake. a county run campground opened in 2015. Air boat dock available.

This was a spur of the moment stop for us and was the easiest process we’ve ever encountered at a campsite. Pick your spot, set up and the camp host comes around in the morning to collect your $20. It was dark when we arrived so we didn’t know what to expect but we woke up surrounded by beauty. Each site had power and water and there was a dump station for those of you who need it. Bathrooms and showers were clean. We will definitely be back to visit.
Great camp ground, and very relaxing. A short walk takes you to the lake and your surrounded by nature. After numerous attempts at camping at Lake Kissimmee State Park and finding it completely booked, I fell upon this treasure and Lake Rosalie Campground. Enjoy both and plan on making these two my camping spots.
