This was trip number 4 for us to Cherry Hill! One of the BEST things about this campground is that you can drive, literally 2 miles to the enf of the Green Line., park, get on the Metro and cruise into Washington DC! Cheap, easy, fast! There are other options as well, but for me, I like to drive. Its so easy, there and back. Everything you need for stores around you, restaurant, pools, hot tubs, store all right in the campground. Great Grocery store on the way to or from the Metro, fuel etc all very close. The back loop of the campground is the furthest from the road noise and is the only real issue I think with this great place. At night that noise really subsides and if your touring DC like you should, you sleep so well you won't hear anything!. Definately go to the orientation that the campground offers, take advantage of coupons and input from those who have visited multiple times. Want a great family vacation maximizing your bang for the buck?! This is it! Imagine watching the fire works on the Fourth of July on the Mall! Blue Crabs on the Wharf, Time it right and see the Cherry blossoms! Do it! You won't!! Loved It!

Spectacular facility and great for people interested in visiting our nations capitol. I can't think of any accommodation that was left out. They even have dog walkers if your stay at the monuments are extended.
