Carolina Beach Family Campground

Luckily we ended up not staying here. Tried interpreting what this place would be like from other review sites and it was a debate between it being the Ritz or a Drug Den. Turns out it leans more toward the later but not that bad. It is filled with full-time residents and a few transient sites. I stopped by to check out the park and they had a bunch of families tent camping and those sites looked rustic and "campy". Not sure why they choose to tent camp here given the proximity of the beach or state park but just an observation. Roads where soft dirt and very dusty.
