Very hard park to rate. We were here for 2 nights as an alternative to staying along I95. Beautiful lake and pretty shared facilities... but... the park is primarily a seasonal destination for locals. They use it as a second and for some only home. Being their "home" we were guests in their area and would not expect to complain or in some way change the norms. So instead I will explain what we saw... if it is what you want then perfect otherwise somewhere else may be better. Golf carts... everywhere. Adult drivers, teen drivers, kid drivers. Lifted, fancy, loud, racing around... everywhere. Kids playing... everywhere. Definitely clicks of teens and younger causing mischief Sites... suitable but not level and a little tight to maneuver. Area... amazing, beautiful fun Price... $40/ night. Not bad at all. Would we stay again? Not sure.

Camp Clearwater Family Campground in White Lake North Carolina offers full hookup RV and tent camping adjacent to a recreational lake for short and seasonal stays. The park maintains a dedicated area for short term guests while also having other areas catering to park model and seasonal stays. Situated along the shores of the popular recreational lake guests enjoy the refreshing waters and white sand beaches. Scheduled activities during season the campground has paved roads with grass sites (5 paved sites available).
Newly renovated showers and restrooms, a scenic chapel, 4 piers and a boat launch, a campstore, and ice cream store are available. The recreational lake is popular for fishing and boating. Camp Clearwater Family Campground is open year round.
