Camp A Way RV Park and Campground in Lincoln Nebraska offers full hookup RV and tent camping within a treed setting adjacent to the interstate. From a Google map view the location looks like it would be surrounded by noise but the placement and setting is amazingly low on noise with the campground situated down slope from the roads and within a heavily treed environment. The park is nicely laid out and well kept with plenty of family friendly activities reminiscent of a well run KOA or Jellystone themed park. Rental trikes, bounce pillow, water play area, pool and stocked store all provide for excellent family friendly activities. The park has a single main paved loop road with all the sites situated on packed gravel. A range of sites are available from smaller and less expensive backins all the way up to large well appointed and expensive pull thrus. The only full service RV park in the area the location benefits from close proximity to the State Capitol and the University of Nebraska. Just outside the park is a public bike path that allows for exercise. Tent sites are available on mowed grass and the park also has a small disc golf course.
