We enjoyed our stay at Cache Creek Campground although we were the only people in sight because of extreme heat in late August. The creek was the main attraction as it was flowing vigorously.

The river flow next to the camp grounds which is nice to take a dip in it on hot days. Below are notes for the 2021 season... CACHE CREEK CAMPGROUND FEES: Individual campsites 1-45 for all visitors: $35.00 per night (no refunds) Dogs at campground: $5.00 per dog/night, and each dog must be licensed - owner must provide proof of license Dump Station Use: $6.00 for non-campers Shower token $5.00 per five minutes Firewood $5.00 per bundle The two flushing restrooms, shower ($5/five minutes), dish washing station, dump station, large turf area, and beach access (no large gatherings, must socially distance) will remain open for registered campers. Several individual camp sites, the four group sites, and day use parking area will be closed for the season. Most cellular phones do not work at the campground, and there is no public phone, internet, or electrical outlets. It is recommended that campers bring plenty of water for their camping duration, as campsites do not have water spigots. Potable water is available at the central dishwashing station and flushing restrooms. Yellow jackets are common in the Cache Creek Canyon area and may be present at the campground, especially during late summer and early fall when their populations peak. Traps alone cannot fully protect against yellow jackets, so please use precaution when preparing and eating food, as they are attracted to food and beverages. Temperatures at the campground can be over 100 degrees in the summer during the day, and below 50 degrees in the evening. In early spring and late fall, temperatures can drop to near or below freezing. Please plan accordingly and check weather updates.
