Caboose Lake Campground

$40 per night for full hookups is a bit high for what they offer; if you have Good Sam they do offer 10% off making the price a bit more reasonable. The only game in town (and for 20 miles) they have a nice park that caters to a mix of over-nighters off the adjacent interstate and seasonals who leave their rigs here for warmer months. There is a large lake that includes a swim beach and water fun. Playground and various facilities show heavy use and were in need of repair... being said we did see them actively building/ maintaining so maybe our timing is just a bit off. Constant hum of highway noise and loud thuds from trucks exiting the highway (occasional loud exhaust brakes too). For what the park can control, their grounds, they do a good job. Roads are packed gravel and would be dusty when dry. A little tight for extra large rigs I recommend their sites on the far side of the lake if available (away from the highway). Verizon 4G had a good signal but seemed to be a bit slow on speed.
