Stayed here October 2017 in a 40 ft class A. We were there for an RV rally & were very impressed with everything but the "Water View" of their pond. It was so overgrown & stagnant that there was no real view BUT plenty of bugs. This is a family owned park; they take pride in the rest of the park & services they provide. Nothing has changed from Jamie's review of two years ago. I do believe the '9 hole putting green' is over rated; not much more than the size of an RV site. Dog pen is huge & far away from all RV sites. Plenty of walking area for large breed dogs down near the pen & over by the tennis -pickle ball courts. Plenty of space between grassed sites. All are concrete level with plenty of length although tight for longer rigs with vehicles towed. Cable is good & WiFi excellent for an RV park. There is some highway noise from a busy road, however this is an upscale RV park & not the back woods. Their facilities for gatherings & rallies are exceptional; they have a commercial kitchen on site to cater your events; the food is wonderfully prepared, plentiful & tasty. I would recommend this Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable, full service, safe RV park. My rating reflects my disappointment in the lack of water area upkeep.

Buckhorn Lake Resort in Kerrville Texas offers 130+ RV campsites near to I10 at exit 501. Paved roads with concrete pads the park is nicely manicured and suitable for any sized RV. A mix of pull thru and backin options all easily angeld for entry and exit the park features a clubhouse, pools, spas, fitness rooms, showers and restrooms. One of the nicer parks in the country the RV park uses a progressive rate calendar with nightly rates expensive ($50 range) and monthly rates inexpensive ($600 range). Close to Interstate 10 the park is set in a rural area just off the interstate northwest of San Antonio.

This by far is one of the best RV parks I have been to, this park is located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. about an hour outside of San Antonio. Has all the amenities one would look for in an RV resort. Pool & hot Tub (2, one open to all one for adults only) fitness room, concert hall, outdoor bar, 9 hole putting green, cottages. Park also has sites in a area reserved for Adults only that includes its own pool/hot tub and restrooms and showers. This park also has a section called THE CLUB, that consist of Privately owned Casitas. Staff was very friendly, park offers a good social calendar to mingle with other residents. I highly recommend this park.
