A 15,815 acre state park filled with over 13 moderate to rugged hiking trails, two large lakes, a large modern lodge and cabins, 13 mountain bike trails, and miles of horseman trails. Managed by the Indiana DNR, this park offers four camping areas with gravel, paved or walk in spaces. Electrical hook ups are modern, recently added new pit toilets are being added, clean and modern shower areas are plentiful, and numerous local attractions outside the park gates are seasonally available. RVs must use the West Gate, as the other gate is over a small 1838 covered bridge. Camp sites can range from level, to moderate slopes, and fire wood restrictions are in place due to insect issues. As the leaves change colors, this area becomes increasingly crowded.
