📖 About This Campground
Blackberry Crossing Campground near Albany New Hampshire offers 26 primitive tent and RV camping sites located along the Kancamagus Highway. A White Mountain National Forest campground the Blackberry Crossing Campground has a paved road with backin dirt campsites tucked in to the trees. A hand pump is available for water and restrooms are pit toilets. First come first served the campground is a short walk over to the scenic river and the beautiful covered bridge. In addition access to numerous hiking trails.
Sites have picnic tables and fire rings and thanks to the trees decent privacy. The sites are reasonably large with the limiting factor being the narrow roads and trees.
Built on the grounds of a former CCC camp from the 30's there are still foundations and interpretive trails discussing this legacy.
