We camped in this campground several years ago and we’re thrilled with its location. The best hiking we did was off sunset beach and it was extremely close. The sites were close in our section which was close to the group sites, but the vegetation provided so much privacy. Extremely quiet. There were 2 bathhouses, one below us and one above us. Regardless which one you went to their would be uphill and downhill, so folks with bad knees might want to stay down below. The campground was on a bluff overlooking the ocean and view was spectacular.. there was a good path to the beach and we spent an afternoon just chillin’.
