Badlands Recreation Area Campground

Badlands Recreation Area Campground is located in Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area between Salton City and Borrego Springs California and offers dry camping sites for RV and tents. Campsites are situated in a desert gravel area a short drive off the main highway. Primarily used by off-road enthusiasts looking to explore the miles of dirt roads and paths in jeeps, side by sides, and on dirt bikes. Heavily patrolled by rangers this location tends to be very popular during peak periods and on holiday weekends. No fees are collected for camping or day use.
