📖 About This Campground

Azalea Campground in Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park offers 110 sites available on a first come first served basis in a forested setting close to the Grant Grove Area. Trails to the General Grant Tree and Grant Grove Village are available from this area. Located down a paved drive the pretty campground is popular for its nicely laid out tent and RV camping sites. Built using the natural terrain, sites are dispersed around the hillsides, trees and boulders creating an overall pleasant feel. A good mix of sun and shade at most of the sites. There is no official length limit for RVs but we would advise the shorter the better. The Grant Grove area has groceries, showers and information. It is accessible via a short but slightly challenging hiking trail. Sites have picnic tables, fire rings, and bear boxes. The campground roads are paved and site parking pads are either paved or dirt. Azalea does have a few large Sequoia Trees located inside it.
