We passed this one by due to the appearance of the front area. Had the chance to stop by the next day to check it out in more detail and are very sad we did not stay here. The front area, as mentioned, is very unsightly but get past the permanent sites and the back area is absolutely spectacular with large pull thru sites overlooking a mowed grass prairie and shaded tent sites in second growth Redwoods. Verizon 4G was strong here too! Very sad we missed it but at least we could submit some video so others don't miss this one. Rate was $35 per night.

Stafford RV Park in Scotia California is at exit 676 one exit north of the entrance to the Avenue of the Giants. Full hook-up RV sites with large pull thru spaces, and primitive tent camping sites on grass providing privacy under the Redwoods. Cabins and tent sites available with fire rings and tables. The best sites for short term stays are large pull thrus located out "in the back" set in a grassy meadow these sites shock guests as you pass through the crowded entrance to get to them.
