We had booked two nights, and the moment we arrived realized that we had arrived in Paradise, and booked two more nights. Also booked for Sept. '22!. September is the best time to be here. If you like being right one of the quietest, biggest, and most beautiful beaches in the world, well, you'll like this spot. There is NO development here, just the state and national parks.

Assateague State Park in Berlin Maryland is located on Assateague Island, a barrier island bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Sinepuxent Bay on the west. Its two miles of ocean beaches offer swimming, beachcombing, sunbathing, surfing and fishing. Partial and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping.
