American Heritage Campground

American Heritage Campground south of Olympia Washington offers 100 RV and tent camping sites in a wooded setting. Open Memorial Day to Labor Day the park has a forest service feel with sites mixed in to a heavily forested area. Paved roads with gravel parking pads sites have fire rings and picnic tables. The office has a small store and there is a pool area and bike track for kids. Just off Interstate 5 at exit 99 the park is convenient for travelers or for guests looking to explore the region. While not close to Olympic National park or Mt Rainier National Park the location is mid-way between the two. A large vehicle accessible fuel station is located at the exit from the interstate meaning guests can fill up their RVs easily.
