As a public park the location has a playground, lakeside water park (free to use), fishing, boating - row boat rentals at the campground, paddle boat and canoe rentals at the beach, and water slide at the beach. The 600 acres at Lake Storey Recreational Area offer year-round outdoor adventure. From golf to a waterslide, from bike trails to fishing, this Galesburg park is a gem.
