Acorn Camp East COE

Acorn Camp East Campground is located at New Hogan Lake on the Calaveras River in the Sierra foothill region of central California. Water skiers enjoy excellent skiing along the 50 miles of shoreline, and there is year-round fishing for stripers, bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish. A golf course is just two miles away from the campground and a Watchable Wildlife site where Bald Eagles may be viewed is also in the vicinity. Additional amenities include hot showers, an amphitheater, bike trails, interpretive trail, horse trails,18 hole frisbee golf course and fish cleaning facilities.
