This campground is for seniors over 55 and has quite a few long term campers. It's on one of the ends of town versus the other campgrounds that are in the middle of town. Great friendly staff, lots of amenities. beautiful indoor pool, craft room, library, pool tables, exercise room, large laundry. Some shade trees and big pull thus. Good security.

81 Palms Senior RV Resort in Deming New Mexico offers full hookup RV camping geared toward snow birds. The park is just west of Deming adjacent to I-10 and offers large easy to access pull thrus, scheduled activities and a manicured setting. RV sites are on gravel/ dirt.

Stayed here recently for the third time in 6 years. As with the previous times there, their internet is a joke. They don't care that you don't have any internet because their secure internet works fine in their office. We called tech support w/Tengo because we thought the problem was on our end and the tech looked into it and said that it was the park and that if we paid to get internet we should get our money back.. The sites are nice but if you need internet, stay at any of the other rv parks in town.
Just made it to the front of this park and met the groundskeeper/ manager/ wanna be cop. I am not sure what the heck is going on here but the razor wire along the fence line, 2 cop cars parked out front, and multiple "security" signs should of gave it away but no I then had a run in with above mentioned manager dude. We stayed at another park in town and I stopped by the other parks and this one to see what they looked like. The guy roles up in a pickup truck and turns on a real police siren! Greets me with kind of a curt hello what do I want? Explained I wanted to see the park if it was okay. He asked what was in my back-pack (water hydration bag)? Confused I said what? "You been rolling around picking up stuff?" he implied I was stealing! Nope it was my mail that I was about to drop off at the post office in town! What a jerk. Park looked like a big gravel lot. The office was kind of neat and seemed manicured. I will never stay here and advise you to shop around unless you like being looked at suspiciously.
The staff was friendly, everything worked fine. Amazing indoor heated swimming pool. Nearby train tracks that had trains running all night, as well as it's close proximity to I-10 but neither cancels out the great rate for a nice location.
